Where are the Churches in the Singles Scene ?

I believe some of the bigger churches should take the initiative in holding singles functions.
I go to Times Square Church once in a while and they have a HUGE Singles attendance.
A few years ago I attended a 3 day singles seminar followed by group discussions which was great.
At the end of the 3 days one Pastor thanked everyone for attending and mentioned they had several people inquiring as to whether this singles function would become a regular thing and he said there were no plans to continue it.
Not surprisingly he was met with quite a few "BOOS" and "AHHH"s.
Times Square Church has in the recent months started a 20 -30s ministry although.
What about Smithtown Gospel Tabernacle ?
Why is it that churches neglect the over 30 crowd ?
Is it because most Pastors are married at an early age and just can't relate ?
I will give my Pastors a lot of credit for letting us start a singles Bible Study and one of our single Pastors leads the Bible Study,Praise God !
