- I've known the Lord since 1984. I teach the new believers class; I am in the women's ministry and in the worship team (not necessarliy a good singer), but definitely a worshiper. I love the Lord and strive to know Him more each day.........

- Very Important and vital for my walk

- A small family oriented, Non-denominational (leaning on pentocostal) church. A small congregation, but spiritually powerful.

- Joyce Meyer; Charles Stanley; Billy Graham; James Mcarther; James Dobson. To name a few, I listen to christian radio AM 570 and AM 970.

- Charlton Heston comes to mind (In Moses); and old time actors from older movies. I'm not much into watching TV, so I draw a blank......

- Romance; Drama; comedy

Joe Parisi said… - Reformed means following the 5 points of Calvinism. Check out RC Sproul, John Macarthur,& John Piper. In my own words it means understanding what the Bible says not trying to make it say what you want it to say.Most people take a verse out of context & either dont read the whole passage before & after therefore think it means something else. Like where it says whatever you pray for you will recieve . what it really means if you pray for Gods will or ask God to give you what you need not what you want you shall receive it . If you want i can find a reformed Church near you & you can check it out yourself.

PCA is Presbyterian Church of America (as opposed to Presbyterian Church USA). Tim Keller (Redeemer in Manhattan and RC Sproul are PCA pastors and authors. Jars of Clay were PCAs. It's reformed theology, certainly includes Calvinism (predestination) although my particular church doesn't seem to emphasize that very much.

In answer to your question the church I'm part of is like yours, a small local church in Bohemia. As for David Herzog and his ministry, I'm not familiar with it. Is his program on radio/tv? If so, let me know and I will tune in and check it out. Thanks and God Bless!

Another question....lol....Is Bohemia in Islip LI? I had to look it up, because I had never heard of it before.
Anyway the website for David Herzog's ministry is "www.thegloryzone.org." They do have a TV program, and you can get that info when you go on their website.
