"Hi..the men's camping retreat was great. A little rain, but that added to the roughing-it element. The food was good..I was the camp cook. Alot of good prayer time; we got together 3 times each day for prayer and getting into the word...also…"

- What are your Hobbies ?
- I am very involved in my church, from children's ministry to the singles ministry, which I helped to develop. Volunteer work, participation in other activites and ministries and bible studies fill me with the joy and bring balance to my life. I love hanging with friends, watching movies or live performances, curling up with a good book, get out-of-doors, play with my grandkids (yes, I am a Gma). I love the summer for all its Fireman's Fairs and out-of-doors performances. Things I would like to learn how to do, Two-step, Play Pool, Latin Dancing, the list goes on and on. Mostly, I do whatever makes me happy and being an optimistic person that isn't hard at all. God has given me a truly wonderful life.
- How long have you been a Christian ? Feel free to talk about your walk with the Lord
- I have been a Christian for five years. Some might say that is a short period of time but I feel that the Lord has worked in my life and I have come a long way. My walk with the Lord is very intimate. He has taken me through some of the roughest roads I have ever walked and always brought me though without a scratch. It would take too much space and time for me to give testimony here so someday we can exchange testimonies with each other in person.
- How important is your Christian faith in your life?
- Well, my faith defines me. That is not to say that everything in my life is black and white. Then again, I don't ask God to meet me half way. What I mean to say, whereas, my walk with God and keeping God at the center of my life is all important to me, I believe developing open communication, trust and respect for each other are the cornerstone in forming good friendships and loving relationships.
- What type of church do you belong to ?
- I belong to a Baptist church which is a strong Bible-based church. Visitors always seemed to be impressed with the warmth of the congregation. Our Ministers are wonderful and our Pastor is fantastic. The Messages are so incredibly "real" that you feel as if the Pastor is talking directly to you. I always come away with food for thought. I thank God for finding me this church everyday.
- What part of the world do you live in ?
- Long Island, New York
- Who are some of your favorite radio or tv preachers or authors ?
- I am not a big radio or TV person but I love reading. A list of authors would, again, be endless. Ask me and I will actual compile a list, LOL!
- Who is your favorite actor(s)
- Well, my parents were semi-profession dancers so every weekend they would go out with their dancing friends and we would stay home with a babysitter. I, being a night owl, would stay up and watch the Late Show, the Late, Late Show and the Early Show. I watched every old movie there was to see and I love them all. So a list of my favorite actors and actresses would be quite long. But, if you want to compare notes, I will be glad to share.
- What type of movies do you like ?
- I love all movies. Old movies have a special place in my heart as they were an important part of my childhood. I have a collection of them on DVD. My Mother and I go to the movies once a week so I keep up with all the new releases too. I pretty much like all movie genres. There is nothing like sharing a movie with friends and taking a lovely walk around town on a warm summer night or Starbucks if the weather doesn't cooperate (wink).
- What kind of music do you like ?
- I am open minded to almost any music aside from Rapp or music with "bad" lyrics but I can't help movin' to the beat when I hear a good song.
- What is your ideal vacation spot ?
- Right now, some place warm with lots of sun, sand, blue waters, a great night life with fantastic music and good food. I would love to see Hawaii, and Alaska. Someday, maybe, I will go on a cruise. I would love to go camping again. And a cabin in the woods, in the fall, would be something else.
- Do you believe in pre marital sex ?
- And Jesus replied, "No one who puts his hand to the plow and looks back is fit for service in the kingdom of God." Luke 9:62 That's a big no, LOL!
