What are your Hobbies ?

I love writing spiritual poetry celebrating God's beauty and tapetry of life. I am a published author of the novel A Tree Frog's Confession From A Psych Ward. I love walks in the park, photography, going to spiritual retreats, movies, watching WWE wrestling, and musci.

How long have you been a Christian ? Feel free to talk about your walk with the Lord

I feel that the Christian journey is forever evolving. I cannot select an exact age. I believe it goes through 3 stages as in my personal life. The first phase of love whereby Christ is the new beloved in our lives. The second stage is the one of challenge in our Christian walk and deals with issues of integrity. The last stage is mature love or agape when we see Christ as the beloved.

How important is your Christian faith in your life?

Faith keeps my heart alive with compassion. It enables me
to see the touch of God in others. Faith unites us. We
are all part of one family. We are the sun, moon and stars
and adored before God. Faith prevents one from hating
even those who hurt us because only hurting people hurt
others. It brings me to a greater realization--we have more
things in common and that all of us seek love, acceptance
and human dignity.

What type of church do you belong to ?

I do attend St. Gerard's in Port Jefferson Station. But I love going to all churches. Agape is a beautiful love to witness.

What part of the world do you live in ?

I am blessed to live with my family in Coram, NY.

Who are some of your favorite radio or tv preachers or authors ?

There are so many. I admire Joyce Meyers and her husband Dave. Creflo Dollar is wonderful. Pastor Joel Olsteen is phenomenal. He has two books out which are great. Besides he resembles my Nana with all his curls. Also Dr. Charles Stanely and Father Bill at St. Gerard's.

Who is your favorite actor(s)

I admire Arnold Schwarzeneger, Clint Eastwood, all of the Marx Brothers, Robin Williams, and Whoopi Goldberg. Also the Rock! I also enjoy watching Jeff and Matt Hardy wrestle on WWE.

What type of movies do you like ?

I like action movies the best. Also Biblical ones are wonderful, too. Comedies and drama as well.

What kind of music do you like ?

I love all music which touches the heart and soul.

What is your ideal vacation spot ?

I have not been on a vacation in more than 5 years due to short-staffing at the hospital where I work. I love the Mohonk House in New Paltz, NY, going to spas, Peddler's Village, and spiritual sanctuaries like the Villa Immaculata and the Lady of the Island.

Do you believe in pre marital sex ?

Sex is sacred and should only be cherished in the confines of marriage. I feel that AIDS, STDS and wanton sexual behavior leads to nothing but heartache. Also unwanted pregnancies. The sexual embrace is beautiful and the gateway to life. Children deserve to be born in a committed, loving relationship where marriage vows are honored and men and women take equal responsibility for the children's lives. As a health care worker, I have seen the epidemic of AIDS and it frightens me. Also I wish people who were ready to get married take the vow seriously and treat it like a ministry. Our country has the highest divorce rate which is deplorable and also many single Moms are raising their children alone without the help of their ex husbands. I feel children are a blessing and deserve the respect of both parents no matter what. Romantic love is very superficial. Mature love is where its at.
