please pray

Hi, Brandon is one of the kids we all love that is in Sparrow Ministry (respite for the developmentally disabled) that I and Paul and Theresa and Ann are a part of at Church on the Sound. I would like to pass on these 2 emails we received from his family:

Please pray for Brandon Perkins (Sparrow member). He will be having back surgery for his curved spine on August 5th. Pray for God's peace and comfort for him and his parents. For God's wisdom and guidance for all the medical staff involved. And for a sucessful outcome and quick and painless recovery. May God's power be displayed in Brandon's life! Amen! (John 9:3)

I don't mind them having my contact info. Brandon will be at Hospital for Joint Disease starting on Wed Aug 5, 2009. He should be there for 4-5 days. He will be on bed rest for 6-8 weeks. Brandon is having a posterior spinal fusion with instrumentation, allograft, pelvic fixation and osteotomy.The hospital is located at 301 East 17 street, NY, NY
